Accor builds 40 million USD hotel in Hanoi

Construction of a 40 million USD hotel started in Hanoi on June 6. The Novotel Hanoi hotel is jointly built by Accor – world leading hotel management corporation, the Hanoi Tourism Corporation and SIH Investment Group from Singapore. The five-storey hotel will house 376 rooms, a restaurant, a 500 square metre conference room and entertainment facilities.

Construction of the hotel, the fifth invested so far by Accor in Hanoi is expected for completion on the occasion of the 1000 th anniversary of Hanoi (2010).

Accor is currently managing Sofitel Metropole and Sofitel Plaza in Hanoi. Its two other hotels, namely Mercure Hanoi La Gare and Mercure Hanoi Hado, are under construction and scheduled for completion by 2009 and 2010, respectively.
