An international online contest on Ha Noi’s historical works and cultural heritage was launched on May 31 towards the 1,000 th birthday of the capital city.
This is part of a series of contests, held between 2000-2010, with different topics for each year, and targeting foreigners and overseas Vietnamese
Entries can be written in one of the six following languages: Vietnamese, English, Russian, Chinese, French and Esperanto and should be sent to the organising board no later than August 30.
Forty awards will be given to individuals and organisations, with the highest one worth up to VND4 million.
